THE FORCE,

As you may know, we will be traveling across the country in the next few weeks. On our way we will visit all kinds of people and places-- we may even run into you. So we've created this wiki to interact with you.

We are asking you, THE FORCE, to suggest points of interest across the USA. You live in lots of different places and are all experts in those various places....you are also experts in the places where you used to live.

Or maybe you're German or Japanese (or maybe even Gerpanese) but you just happen to know some cool places to visit in the US. Maybe you lived here for a while or you do a lot of traveling.

We encourage you to link to photos, video, and outside resources. We'd love to meet you, get to know you.

Ideally together we will create a super-awesome interactive guide to America.

You are THE FORCE. And THE FORCE is with us.

Trip started on a Tuesday

• Day 1: ctgirl81 speaks.
• Day 2: New York City to Bridgeport, Connecticut — Josh Wolf talks about censorship of video blogs, and federal shield rights for journalists. Also, Amanda asks for your Outrageous Road Trip Stories.
• Day 3: New York City — Pia Lindman's Fascia on 97 Kenmare Street.
• Day 4: Newtown Creek in New York City. Arguably the most polluted waterway in the United States is featured in this 14 minute videoblog.
• Day 5: The Riverkeeper and the Hudson River in New York State.

• Day 6: Amanda gets arrested.
• Day 7: New Jersey — Part 1 of the Jeff Jarvis interview, pre-interruption.
• Day 8: New Jersey — Part 2 of the Jarvis interview. Discussions include the role of new media and how old media is trying to adapt. Also, meet Edward from Scottsburg, Virginia!
• Day 9: Philadelphia to Greensboro, North Carolina — Duncan of http://atrios.blogspot.com fame is interviewed.
• Day 10: Greensboro to Knoxville, Tennessee — also, an interview with Andy Carvin in Washington D.C. about the digital divide was posted. Another segment from New York City was posted for charity:, an organization that builds wells for populations who don't have access to water.
• Day 11: Knoxville to Nashville — Partial itinerary posted.
• Day 12: Interview in New Jersey posted with Drew Olanoff and Shauna, owner and host (respectively) of Scriggity.

• Day 14: Interview posted with producer/photojournalists Molly Bingham and Steve Connors of Meeting Resistance, a documentary following resistance movements of the Iraqi War. Interview took place in Washington D.C.
• Day 15: Interview posted with blogger Ed Cone, a Greensboro, North Carolina resident with an emphasis on local blogging and its effect.
